Dr. Kalaaji is highly regarded for his expertise in aesthetic and regenerative plastic surgery, particularly in fat grafting, breast surgery, and body contouring procedures. He specializes in aesthetic breast augmentation, including hybrid techniques with fat grafting, intimate female genital rejuvenation, gluteal fat augmentation (Brazilian Butt Lift), mammy make over and other combined procedures and rhinoplasty. He also focuses on improving patients’ quality of life post-surgery. He was invited on several occasions as KOL and expert opinion on hot issues as for BBL (gluteal fat augmentation) invitation to London BAAPS in 2019.
Publications and Contributions
Dr. Kalaaji has published many articles in peer-reviewed journals and has delivered over 450 lectures and presentations at global conferences, including those organized by ISAPS, ASAPS, ISPRES, IMCAS and many other national, regional and international meetings. In 2022, he served as Editor-in-Chief, of a comprehensive two-volume book titled *Plastic and Aesthetic Regenerative Surgery and Fat Grafting: Clinical Application and Operative Techniques*, published by Springer. This work, featuring contributions from 242 authors across 31 countries, is a landmark in the field, with 117 chapters, 2,000 pages, and over 1,600 educational figures. This is including writing his own 7 chapters in the book.
He currently serves on the editorial boards for the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, Section Editor in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (the Blue Journal) of ISAPS, Journal of Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery, European Journal of Plastic Surgery and Acta Chirurgiae Plasticae.
